The broad field within which this argument case is located, e.g. economics, law, ethics, etc.  An argument can have cases with contributions from more than one field.

The first field entered should be the main field of this argument.

The pre-existing field ‘Sandbox’ allows you to try things out.  Periodically entries in the database containing the field Sandbox will be deleted.

Interface Detail

When logged-in and editing an argument, a field select box will be available. The select box contains fields already registered in Pacisco.  If your field is already there then it may be selected.  If it is missing then select ‘New’ (at the bottom of the list) and a text box will open allowing you to enter a new field name.

If the claim to be entered is relevant to more than one field, then additional field names may be selected, however the first field is regarded as the main field.
